I’m not sure that I can find a clear trend in these numbers. However, it is clear that Romney and McCain are battling for first place and, less clearly, it appears that there has been a slight move in Romney’s direction over the last several days—possibly resulting from Fred Thompson’s departure from the race. Also, at this point, Giuliani seems consigned to a third place showing—and, if there is additional movement in Huckabee’s direction, could be relegated to fourth place.
